1. What is Kalei all about?

Kalei is a conscious clothing label rooted in Indian traditions. We craft everyday wear using pure cotton fabrics, hand block prints, and artisanal techniques—blending comfort with timeless style.

2. Are your products handmade?

Yes! Most of our pieces feature hand block printing, hand painting, or other artisanal methods. Every design is thoughtfully created in collaboration with skilled craftspeople.

3. Do you use sustainable fabrics?

Absolutely. We use natural fabrics like cotton and cotton-linen blends that are breathable, biodegradable, and gentle on your skin—and the planet.

4. What types of sarees do you offer?

We offer a curated collection of handcrafted linen and cotton mulmul sarees across various fabrics and styles. Each saree reflects artistry, heritage, and individuality.

5. How should I care for my garments?

We recommend a gentle hand wash with mild detergent. For the first wash, wash separately to avoid any color transfer. Line dry in shade, and always iron inside out on low heat to protect the print and fabric.

6. Do you offer customization or blouse stitching?

Not at the moment. However, we’re happy to help you find the perfect fit or style from our current collections.

7. How do I know my size?

Every product page includes a detailed size chart. Still unsure? Send us your measurements, and we’ll guide you personally.

8. Can I return or exchange an item?

Yes. We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging. Please note: sale and custom-made items are not eligible for return.

9. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship across India. For international orders, please get in touch with us directly via our Contact Us page. We're happy to assist with custom shipping requests.

10. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are delivered across India in 5–7 working days. Orders placed before 2 PM ship the same day; those placed later are dispatched the next business day. You'll receive tracking details once your order is shipped.

Kalei is proudly made in India. Our studio and production team operate from the beautiful city of Udaipur.

We believe in slow, thoughtful fashion. Our collections are released periodically, guided by seasonal inspirations and traditional techniques—not fleeting trends.
